Hastings Family Planning offers pregnancy testing six weeks from the first day of a woman’s last menstrual period. For a good test, we need a concentrated urine specimen that has been in the woman’s system overnight or for 4-6 hours.
Patients also can urinate first thing in the morning into a clean, well rinsed container and bring the sample in for testing.
After a positive pregnancy test, HFP offers some adoption counseling and referrals for
additional counseling and healthcare.
